International multimodal transport, referred to as multimodal transport, is the emergence and development of container transport on the basis of the international multimodal transport contract, refers to at least two different modes of transport by multimodal transport operators from the place of takeover within one country to another country designated delivery place of goods transport. International multimodal transport is applicable to various modes of transportation, such as waterways, highways, railways and aviation. In international trade, as 85% to 90% of the goods are transported by sea, sea transport plays a dominant role in international multimodal transport.
